How to solve a hanjie?
The aim is colorite or darken some squares with the purpose to make up a picture. The only clues you have are the figures writen at the beguinning of each line and column. They indicate in order, from the top or the left, the number of squares coloured that constitute each block. These coloured squares blocks are separated by one (or several) white square(s).

We will illustrate this with a simple example:
2

In the first colomn of our exemple the values 2 6 mean that a two squares block is separated from a six squares block by a white square or several. The solution is obtained by logical deduction from the indications.

Therefore, there are three possibilities to fill this colomn (2 6) on the left.

However the right combination may be, some squares have the same colour for each case and must be coloured (shown by the arrows). Therefore we found one square of the "2" and five squares of the "6".

The configuration is the same for the tenth colomn...
Therefore we have for the first and the last colomn the below confiration:

Now, take a look on the second line (1 1). These two blocks with a sigle square are now coloured, therefore we know that the rest of the ligne is white.
Then, look at the forth colomn (2 1). The upper block have two squares and the second square is already marqued as white. The above square must be white too. The line 7 beguins with a two squares block and the first square is coloured in black... The reasoning is the same at the end of this line. Colour now all the other squares of the line in white.

An other square can be coloured in white (sixth line - second colomn). This involve that the four black squares block of the colomn two must occupied the four lower squares of the colomn.

Continue to use the information given by the lines and colomns to colour the black squares in black and the white squares in white and be logical.

To change the colour of a square: select the mode you want and click on the square you want to colour.
